My practice is heavily influenced by living the everyday experience. Taking ordinary appliances or common materials that one interacts with on a daily bases and repurposing them in a way were they lose their original function and exist with a impractical purpose making the everyday mundane more complex in attempts to try to understand it. the mundane is complicated in a more My work involves a process of events that are action/reaction based. These action/reactions incorporate a form of transferring energy through out the piece. This system of events begins with the viewer triggering the piece. The viewer must be present in order for the art work to operate. The common threads within my work are a delicate raw aesthetic, the element of heat and transfer of energy.
